Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by PEPS Ventures Berhad ("PEPS Ventures", "we", "us"). By registering for any course or event, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About PEPS Ventures

PEPS Ventures Berhad is the commercial arm of the Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector, Malaysia ("PEPS"). We organise Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events, the Negotiator Certification Course (NCC), the REN Renewal Programme (RRP), and related property intelligence services for the Malaysian property industry.

2. Course Registration

Registration for a course or event is subject to availability and acceptance by PEPS Ventures. A registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a registration where eligibility criteria are not met or where capacity is reached.

You are responsible for ensuring that the registration details you provide, including your name, NRIC/passport number, REN or registration number, and contact information, are accurate and complete. Errors in registration details may affect the validity of your certificate or CPD record.

3. Payment

All course fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed via Curlec, a Razorpay Malaysia product. By completing payment you authorise the charge of the stated amount to your selected payment method.

Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. We do not hold seats on the basis of partial payment or verbal confirmation. Invoices and receipts will be issued by email upon confirmation.

4. Cancellation, Transfer, and No-Show

Our refund and cancellation terms are set out in full in our Refund Policy. Key points:

  • Cancellations made at least ten (10) business days before the event date are eligible for a full refund, less any processing fees.
  • Cancellations made fewer than ten (10) business days before the event are generally non-refundable but may be eligible for a transfer to a future date.
  • Non-attendance without prior notice is non-refundable.
  • If PEPS Ventures cancels or postpones an event, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date.

5. Conduct and Eligibility

Participants are expected to attend in person (or virtually, where applicable) and to conduct themselves professionally throughout the programme. PEPS Ventures reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.

Certain courses, including NCC and RRP, carry eligibility requirements set by BOVAEP or the relevant regulatory authority. It is your responsibility to verify your eligibility before registering. We are not liable for fees paid where eligibility conditions are not met.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, slides, handouts, recordings (where provided), and content available on this website are the intellectual property of PEPS Ventures or its licensors and are protected by Malaysian copyright law and international conventions.

Materials provided to registered participants are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, record, or publicly display any course content without the prior written consent of PEPS Ventures.

7. Limitation of Liability

This website and our services are provided on an "as is" basis. PEPS Ventures makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, PEPS Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or attendance at our events, including loss of income, professional standing, or data. Our total liability in connection with any course or service shall not exceed the fee paid by you for that course or service.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
